This website

The pages are static files with no advertising network, and they ask you for nothing. The optional consultation, described below, sets a cookie.

Cloudflare serves the site and keeps standard request logs, including IP addresses, for security and abuse prevention.

The consultation

The consultation is optional, and you start it yourself. It asks a few questions about your operation and writes you a short briefing.

To run, it sets one cookie of its own, which identifies your session. The cookie is deleted when the session ends or when you start over. Before a session starts, Cloudflare's challenge checks that you are a person, and Cloudflare receives information from your browser to do so.

The answers you chose are sent to an AI model provider, first to choose any follow-up questions and then to write your briefing, and your answers to those follow-ups are kept and sent with the rest. If you send the briefing to our team, your answers and the briefing are also sent to the AI model provider to write a consultation report. Your contact details are never part of any of these requests.

Nothing reaches our team unless you choose to send it. If you do, we receive by email the name and email address you give, any organisation and message you add, your answers, follow-ups included, the briefing, and the consultation report written from them. We use them to reply to you. If you ask for a copy, the consultation report is emailed to the address you give, through an email delivery provider.

Your consultation data, including your answers and any contact details you submit, is held in active session storage. Deletion is scheduled for session expiry, but may be deferred by time reserved for AI processing or an unsettled email delivery. Starting over deletes the active session data unless one of those is still pending.

Cloudflare documents a 30-day point-in-time recovery window for this SQLite storage (Cloudflare's recovery documentation). Deletion from the active store does not establish that recovery history has been purged.

Mail sent to hello@adastra.bot reaches Adastra AI Research. We keep it to answer you and to carry on the conversation, and we do not sell it or pass it to anyone who is not working on your enquiry. Ask us to delete it and we will.

The product

This page covers the website only. Data handling inside a deployment is set by the agreement for that deployment, and an appliance deployment can be configured so that operational data never leaves your premises.
